Regulatory Operations is a key part of our Payment Operations, supporting global regulatory obligations. This complex role involves executing global regulatory reporting and managing changes driven by regulators, product shifts, and other triggers like automation and compliance findings.
As a Payments Regulatory Operations Quality & Standards and Regulatory Engagements Vice-President within Reg Ops team, you'll work within a Global & Regional model to manage change and execution processes, enhancing our controls and standards and managing ad-hoc and regular regulatory engagements in a robust and scalable way.
Job responsibilities
- Manage Regulatory Reporting Catalogue / Inventory.
- Execute production testing and implement proactive quality analysis strategies.
- Implement a quality framework (Incidents, CORE Issues, Manual Exception Processes) to prevent repeat errors.
- Manage regulatory issues as they arise, addressing problems and challenges regularly.
- Develop and establish Regional & Global standards.
- Manage Governance of Engagement & Requests for Information.
- Engagements Best Practice.
- Engagement Efficiency & Trends.
- Partner with Operations, Product, Technology, Audit, Compliance, Regulators, and other groups to navigate an ever-changing landscape.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Operations experience within a Corporate & Investment Bank.
- Strong knowledge of risk, controls and regulatory matters.
- Experience in delivering strong governance and oversight across business and risk disciplines.
- Analytical thinker who is adept at reading across issues and identifying key drivers.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage own workload and deliverables.
- Well organized with ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Proven track record of delivery.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to partner well with groups outside the team’s reporting line.
- Clear and confident communication across multiple aspects of the organization.
- Energetic, self-motivated and effective under pressure - must enjoy the challenge of working within a fast-paced, changing and demanding working environment.
- BA (or equivalent) degree required.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Direct experience in Payments is preferable.
- Proficiency in Excel and ability to clearly storyboard using PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of user tools such as JIRA, Lucid, Monday.com.
- Experience of finding Artificial Intelligence solutions to solve Business problems.
