As an Analyst or Associate in the Global Financial Crimes Compliance KYC Escalations team, you will play a key role in supporting our AML/KYC program across Asia Pacific. You will partner with colleagues and stakeholders to provide expert guidance, drive process improvements, and help ensure our business remains resilient and compliant. You will be part of a collaborative team that values diverse perspectives and innovative thinking.
Job Responsibilities:
- Advise business and operations teams on AML/KYC compliance matters, ensuring consistent interpretation of global and local standards
- Partner with global, regional, and local compliance teams and stakeholders to support the implementation of AML programs and KYC policies
- Provide guidance to Money Laundering Reporting Officers (MLROs) on local policy setting and program implementation
- Identify and engage with stakeholders to drive efficiency and enhance AML/KYC controls and processes
- Prepare and deliver training on AML/KYC topics to relevant stakeholders
- Support AML risk assessments as required
- Assist with ad-hoc assignments, initiatives, and projects across the region
- Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve escalations and ensure successful outcomes
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, or a related discipline
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Compliance, Legal, Risk Management, or related control functions, with direct AML/KYC compliance expertise at a global financial institution
- Strong interpersonal and client management skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate with stakeholders and senior management
- Proactive, organized, and detail-oriented, with the ability to prioritize and work independently
- Demonstrated ability to investigate issues and derive solutions independently
- Experience preparing and delivering training on compliance topics
- Knowledge of AML/KYC regulatory requirements in Asia Pacific
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience supporting AML risk assessments and process enhancements
- Familiarity with regional AML/KYC regulations and industry best practices
- Professional certifications in AML or compliance (e.g., ACAMS, ICA)
- Experience working in a global financial institution
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team environment
- Experience with process improvement or project management in compliance
