As a Data Analyst Associate in Business Banking D&A CAO Controls Reporting, you will design and deliver control and exception reports for Deposits and Cash Management. You will collaborate with stakeholders to develop efficient solutions and influence key initiatives through actionable insights.
Job responsibilities
- Interact with stakeholders to understand business needs and deliver efficient reporting solutions
- Write SQL code and stored procedures to identify exceptions and develop Tableau control reports
- Ensure reporting elements are organized, automated, and documented for consistency and performance
- Proactively identify growth opportunities and communicate recommendations to leadership
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to synthesize data into actionable insights
- Provide regular updates to key stakeholders and senior leaders
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline with four years of experience in data transformation and visualization
- Hands-on experience writing complex SQL code and automating data processes
- Proficient in data analytics tools and technologies such as Alteryx and Tableau
- Strong understanding of IT processes and databases
- Ability to analyze problems, design solutions, and communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Experience wrangling large, complex datasets and optimizing SQL scripts
- Superior judgment to mitigate risk and escalate control issues
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience in an insights function at a financial services or consulting firm
- Knowledge of big data disciplines, AWS, and Agile methodologies
- Effective communication with senior leaders to enable collaboration and decision-making
- Demonstrated growth mindset and passion for learning new techniques
