As a Manager of Software Engineering at JPMorgan Chase within the Infrastructure Platforms line of business, you will oversee a team of over 10 developers and quality assurance professionals based in India and the US. Your role involves managing the daily operations of the Technology Asset Provisioning System, a bespoke application designed to install, maintain, refresh, and decommission hardware across JPMorgan Chase data centers and corporate offices.

Job responsibilities

  • Provides guidance to immediate team of ServiceNow software engineers on daily tasks and activities of a custom ServiceNow application.
  • Sets the overall guidance and expectations for team output, practices, and collaboration
  • Anticipates dependencies with other teams to deliver products and applications in line with business requirements
  • Manages stakeholder relationships and the team’s work in accordance with compliance standards, service level agreements, and business requirements
  • Creates a culture of diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect for the team members and prioritizes diverse representation

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience. In addition, demonstrated coaching and mentoring experience.

  • Apply hands-on experience in ServiceNow development and operations.
  • Lead ServiceNow development teams, managing resources and project deliverables.
  • Direct ServiceNow technology projects from inception to completion.
  • Manage technologists to achieve project and organizational goals.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods.
  • Master all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
  • Apply advanced understanding of agile methodologies, including CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
  • Implement practical cloud-native solutions in technology projects.
  • Work at code level within ServiceNow and maintain ServiceNow Certified Developer certification.
  • Integrate ServiceNow with message-based systems, implementing sophisticated error handling.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience with infrastructure install, maintain, refresh and decommission processes for corporate data centers.
  • ServiceNow Integration Specialist certifications in one or more ServiceNow modules.
