As a Data Management Associate in the Data Use and Access Team, you help govern data access and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. You collaborate with product, engineering, and end users to deliver seamless experiences while supporting risk management and strategic initiatives.
Job responsibilities
- Govern data access for on-premise and cloud platforms, ensuring compliance with business rules and regulatory standards
- Implement and manage access administration and reviews across diverse data environments
- Identify and remediate gaps in access controls, automating and optimizing business processes
- Collaborate cross-functionally to develop strategic solutions for access management
- Ensure adherence to data governance policies and support audits and risk remediation
- Prepare management reports and perform access review and recertification
- Resolve issues, escalations, and customer queries with professionalism
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Two years’ experience in identity or data access management and understanding of data access
- Two years’ experience in analytics or technologies such as SQL, Python, Alteryx, and Tableau
- Proficient in ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, and MS Office (Excel Macro, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Project)
- Excellent policy and process documentation skills
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to work autonomously and support critical projects as needed
- Strong data analysis skills for drawing conclusions and making recommendations
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Familiarity with artificial intelligence, data governance frameworks, and big data platforms such as Snowflake and AWS
- Experience with scripting and use cases in Python and SQL
- Exposure to cloud technologies
- Ability to work effectively in matrixed, collaborative environments
