Join our dynamic Equities Operations Transformation team as a Project Manager, where you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic change and delivering impactful results across the APAC Corporate and Investment Bank Equities business—including Cash Equities, Equities Derivatives, and Prime Finance.

As a Project Manager within Equities Operations Transformation, you will be responsible for leading transformative projects, collaborating across business and technology functions, and leveraging data analytics and AI to enhance operational efficiency and client offerings.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead the transformation of strategic plans into high-impact programs and projects, ensuring alignment with business strategy and timely delivery of commitments across Cash Equities, Equities Derivatives, and Prime Finance.
  • Work closely with Business Managers, Operations Leads, Technology teams, other internal or external partners, and subject matter experts to understand needs, priorities, and identify innovative solutions for all product lines.
  • Scope, elicit, analyze, and document business requirements using BPM and analytics tools. Perform root cause analysis to distinguish user requests from underlying needs and drive business process improvements across Operations & Post Trade Technology for Cash, Derivatives, and Prime Finance.
  • Utilize data analytics and AI/ML techniques to monitor program progress, make informed decisions, and drive data-driven enhancements in project outcomes and operational efficiency.
  • Engage with senior management and stakeholders, providing regular updates on program progress and collaborating to resolve issues.
  • Build, lead, and manage diverse teams, fostering an environment of continuous learning and growth, and effectively delegating tasks to achieve objectives.
  • Prepare for and run UAT, ensuring comprehensive solutions are delivered and business requirements are effectively translated into test plans.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in the financial industry, with strong understanding of Cash Equities, Equities Derivatives, and Prime Finance workflows, and detailed-oriented BA/PM skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage complex programs or projects across multiple business units and product lines.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in data analytics, including the use of analytics tools to interpret models and make inferences from large data sets.
  • Experience in business analysis, process documentation, and delivering complex projects for Front Office, Operations, or Technology.
  • Excellent problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with senior executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Experience preparing for and running UAT.
  • Self-motivated, able to deliver with minimal supervision, and effective in team environments.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Knowledge of Cash Equities, Equities Derivatives, Trade Management, Settlement, and Prime Finance.
  • Extensive experience with Artificial Intelligence use cases to enhance project outcomes.
  • Hands-on automation experience to streamline workflows and increase efficiency.
  • Deep expertise in statistical analysis, experimental design, and causal inference.
  • Proficiency in project management and business analysis tools.
