Job Summary:

As a Project Manager within the Markets Operations Cross-LOB Initiatives team, you will be responsible for managing both strategic and tactical projects. Your role will also involve providing analytical, reporting, communications, and change management support to senior management in Markets Operations. The projects you will handle may encompass areas such as digitization/automation, operational efficiency, regulatory matters, control, business resiliency, and people initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the strategic migration project for the Trade Management Platform (Financial Application).
  • Gain exposure to Investment Banking operations across Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office.
  • Learn various financial products and investment banking operations, and apply this knowledge to project tasks.
  • Plan and manage project implementation phases, including pilot testing, UAT, TIR logging and resolution, training, hand-holding support, and go-live activities.
  • Review requirements, specifications, user documentation, help files, and other project materials to ensure quality of test suites.
  • Identify process gaps and streamline processes; drive automation efforts for ongoing campaigns.
  • Manage project deliverables in alignment with the project plan.
  • Create UAT test plans and test cases.
  • Conduct gap analysis and gather requirements for new customizations.
  • Perform functional testing and provide UAT support to business users.
  • Provide regular status reports to project stakeholders.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience as a Project manager/Lead or Senior Business Analyst.
  • Working experience in Capital market domain.
  • Possess strong client facing skills, delivery focused and proficient in managing multiple cross-functional teams/projects.
  • Possess excellent analysis, problem solving, interpersonal communication, project and time management skills.
  • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio.
  • Awareness of project management tools, such as JIRA, Confluence and SharePoint.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Certification in Business Analyst or Project management is a plus.
  • Experience in Derivatives products, finance, banking, securities domain, is a plus.
  • Experience in implementation of Regulatory Reporting CFTC / SEC / ESMA / FCA / ASIC / HKMA / MAS.
  • Worked on the Trade Confirmation Platform MarkitWire and TradeServ.
