As a Senior Associate in Risk Management - Consumer and Community Banking - Risk Architecture, you will collaborate with technology groups, business partners, project analysts/managers, and external vendor resources to plan and execute testing initiatives. You will lead a team of testing professionals, either directly or within a matrix environment, to ensure test planning and execution are completed within time and cost constraints. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the business testing function and defining strategies and approaches for User Acceptance. This role involves complex functions with significant business impact.
Job Responsibilities
- Formulating test approach and test plan and detailing the dependencies and risk involved
- Executing business scenario in UAT environment
- Partnering and collaborating with stakeholders for clarifying queries and sharing the testing status
- Manage testing activities as well as setting and stewarding sound testing methodologies
- Participate in the development of goals and execution of strategies within a function or department
- Provide execution support and leadership for large, complex, technology-dependent programs and projects that cut across business and functional areas
- Assess and revise test sequence and scope based upon test results and/or changes in product design
- Guide complex problem resolution and expected to assist in resolving all difficult issues, expanding the solution to include infrastructure, architecture, and multi-tier tools and business system strategies
- Provide automation support and leadership for large, complex, technology-dependent programs and projects that cut across business and functional areas once implemented
- Being responsible for assessing, creating and building automation tools for gaining efficiency or cost reduction
- Maintain the automation suite and scope based upon changes in product design
Required Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience
- 6+ years of experience in manual testing along with formulating test plans and approach, test scenarios and test scripts
- Experience in JIRA process, understanding of the process flow and creation of the task
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Confluence, qTest tool ,knowledge in Unix operating system
- Experience with Agile and waterfall software development methodologies
- Process-oriented, organized, with strong analytical & troubleshooting skills
- Strong, clear, and concise written and verbal communication with ability to edit and prepare executive level communications. Excellent organizational and project management skills; able to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines. Proven ability to collaborate and build strong partnerships
- Intellectual curiosity with a proven ability to learn quickly. High degree of initiative, self-direction, and ability to work well under pressure
Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Capabilities:
- Experience with mainframe screens, business rules engines
- Understanding of credit card lifecycle and cards transactions processing
