As a Control Manager within the Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) organization, you will play a crucial role in identifying and mitigating compliance and operational risks. You will collaborate with business executives to design and implement effective control strategies, ensuring our operations are secure and efficient. Your work will directly contribute to the firm's success and help maintain our reputation for excellence.

Job responsibilities

  • Serve as a control manager supporting the Portfolio Strategy & Automation (PS&A) sub-LOB and the Intelligent Process Automation (IPA) product
  • Provide agility controls support across the 12 CCB Operations products
  • Provide direct support to PS&A and IPA as it relates to control testing, process annual reviews, exam management preparation, policy/procedure reviews and regulatory obligation advisement
  • Perform risk identification and controls support for product initiatives, including AI/ML use cases
  • Partner with Product group controls managers across CCB Operations to ensure consistent product agility control execution
  • Drive continuous improvement in risk management practices

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 3+ years of financial services experience in controls, audit, quality assurance, risk management, or compliance
  • Ability to analyze problems with keen attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills with comfort communicating with management
  • Well-organized with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and complete them within established timeframes
  • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Working knowledge of CORE and other Controls-related tools and processes
  • Capability to apply AI/ML concepts to support risk management applications and enhance decision-making processes.
  • Demonstrated controls experience as it pertains to Intelligent Solutions, Model Governance, and/or technology use cases
  • Knowledge of Agile principles, Jira, and product agility controls
  • Providing issue management support, particularly in regards to technology dependent action plans
  • Strong digital literacy for the effective use of digital tools and platforms in control frameworks
