As an Associate in the Corporate Payments Sales team, you will be responsible for coordinating Payments relationship coverage and development of global cash and liquidity management solutions for Korea headquartered corporations operating across the globe. This encompasses client and market intelligence for new and existing clients along with supporting the sales team’s various requirements, providing support to the Payments Sales Managers covering various industries to manage client relationships and drive sales.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead the sales of the entire Payments product suite/solution, including treasury services which covers core cash clearing, liquidity management and foreign exchange solutions.
  • Achieve new business goals, including the annual sales plan at target margins. Identify prospects and opportunities, develop strategic calling plans, and engage partners and senior managers to influence prospective clients.
  • Provide Payments business relationship coverage for key Korean Headquartered Corporations by taking a holistic and forward-looking view. Identify ways to help clients achieve their most important business/treasury objectives.
  • Understand industry/client segment-unique challenges and requirements, work with various areas of the firm, to design and provide Payments solutions.
  • Lead and coordinate with regional/in-country Bankers and Subsidiary Payment Sales on outbound businesses.
  • Partner closely with global stakeholders, including Coverage, Product, Client Services, and Implementation teams, to execute the sales strategy.
  • Manage the entire sales process, including supervising end-to-end implementation and day-to-day operations of client solutions.
  • Assist the Sales team with sales pitch materials, RFP/RFI submissions, and preparation of proposals for internal approvals. Build and understand pricing and profitability models.
  • Conduct research on existing client portfolios and prospective clients. Prepare client research, industry analysis, and provide fundamental research on market sizing by region.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Treasury Service business.
  • Good understanding of the Korea Headquartered Corporations’ global business activity, in particular cash / treasury management products.
  • Experience in preparing client pitches and conducting financial analysis would be relevant.
  • Goal-driven and results-oriented, with the ability to foster innovation and solve problems creatively.
  • Excellent communication skills, with fluency in both English and Korean.
  • Demonstrated client ownership with a proven ability to mobilize available resources to deliver for clients.
  • Effective partnership skills with internal and external stakeholders.
