As a Payment Lifecycle Manager II within Payments Operations, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our payment operations framework by streamlining processes, implementing new technologies, and developing operational functions. You will manage payment processing across various products, ensuring smooth fund transfers between financial institutions, cardholders, merchants, corporate and retail clients, while also handling the reconciliation of purchase and sales options, futures, or securities. Leveraging your proficiency in automation, cybersecurity, and anti-fraud awareness, you will ensure the security and efficiency of our payment lifecycle, and your strategic planning skills will guide our direction and resource allocation decisions. Your proficiency in AI/ML will be utilized to solve complex problems and enhance processes, applying your knowledge in market product and process improvement to optimize operations. Additionally, your role will involve sanctions screening, payment investigations, funds control, exception processing, resolving reconciliation breaks, and managing invoicing or cash management activities.
Job responsibilities
- Support Change Management activities and drive operational readiness for ALL system changes and furthering EMEA Operations Agenda items
- Develop and contribute to concise communication materials for senior management; strong verbal and written communications and deck-writing skills required.
- Support the creation of governance framework, tools, and common methodology for program management office (and for use across Project/Change management efforts supporting the program, as appropriate)
- Work with strategy leads, controls, and other partners to implement governance / control points / proper SOP documentation needs for newly developed business processes
- Support successful execution of each program in the strategic portfolio, including quickly escalating key issues/recommendations to senior management for resolution
- Demonstrate superior judgment to mitigate risk. Escalate risk/control issues and ensure trends are anticipated and identified
- Provide end to end management of multiple large-scale projects across ECCO Applications – manage scope, business benefits, project plans, timelines, identify & resolve issues, risks, dependencies and generate MIS.
- Ensure effective internal communications among all the work steams and stakeholders, ensuring all are engaged. Manage client relationships to deliver consistent, excellent client experience. Ability to partner with different stakeholder groups to elicit business requirements and processes.
- Manage forums for project updates and manage project scorecards. Partner with business leads to compile business requirements and provide leadership to drive delivery.
- Apply strategic thinking and sound judgment in decision-making, while leveraging leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills to build collaborative and engaged teams.
- Ensure compliance with operational guidelines, coach and develop team members, and communicate effectively to simplify complex information for various audiences.
- Bachelor's degree with Minimum 12 years Cash Operations/Product experience and in leadership roles
- Able to write clear and detailed Business Requirements in the Given, When and Then Format in JIRAs
- Understanding of and experience in payment, deposit, and liquidity products. Sound knowledge of Swift Payments/ ISO / Wire Payments or Alternate payments.
- Intermediate/Advanced experience using Microsoft Office, including Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication and presentations skills. Strong organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize, and manage multiple activities, detail oriented.
- Demonstrated ability in operations leadership or management within payments, with at least three years of experience leading high-performing teams to achieve business priorities and objectives.
- Proficiency in data analysis techniques, capable of interpreting and communicating insights to inform decision-making with senior stakeholders.

Ability to apply a commercial and growth mindset to adapt to fast-paced operations environments and new business initiatives, leveraging strong interpersonal skills for collaboration.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Master’s degree in finance and/or Technology preferred. Technical knowledge and experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of automation tools like Tableau, Alteryx, Machine Learning will be an added advantage
- Strong understanding of different development methodologies (e.g., Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall). Preferred skills of automation tools
- Change management / Business analysis experience.
