As a Senior Vice President Engineering Lead in the Markets CRM team, you will architect and deliver technology solutions that empower our Markets business. You will guide a global team, ensuring the platform is secure, scalable, and innovative. You will play a hands-on role in technical leadership, fostering a culture of inclusion and continuous improvement. Your work will directly impact our business and client experience.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and delivery of the Markets CRM platform
  • Set technical direction and drive architectural decisions
  • Oversee execution of software solutions and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Produce and review architecture and design artifacts for distributed applications
  • Guide teams in building and supporting front-end and back-end services
  • Ensure creation of secure, high-quality production code
  • Drive adoption of modern front-end and cloud-native technologies
  • Champion agile methodologies and secure development practices
  • Facilitate technical analysis, estimation, planning, and code reviews
  • Lead efforts to analyze and synthesize large data sets for improvement
  • Build and nurture a high-performing, diverse engineering team

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts
  • Hands-on experience as a developer and technical leader in large corporate environments
  • Expertise in Java fundamentals, object-oriented programming, multi-threading, messaging technologies, and computer networks
  • Experience building high-performance, latency-sensitive Java applications
  • Solid understanding of agile methodologies, CI/CD, application resiliency, and security best practices
  • Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code using modern programming and database querying languages
  • Knowledge of cloud, AI/ML, and mobile software applications and technical processes
  • Experience maintaining and troubleshooting software in Linux environments; familiarity with containers and cloud architectures/services
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with experience working in global teams
  • Commitment to continuous learning and improvement

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Familiarity with modern front-end technologies such as React, Angular, or Vue.js
  • Exposure to cloud technologies like AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Experience with Python and front-end development
  • Practical experience with FIX messaging protocol and QuickFIX/J
  • Familiarity with Hazelcast or other distributed computing platforms
  • Experience with distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures
