Job summary
As a Performance and Risk Analytics Associate in the FUSION Performance and Risk Analytics Team, you support institutional asset owner and asset manager clients by delivering advanced analytics and insights throughout the investment lifecycle. You will be part of a collaborative, creative, and client-focused team, working with global partners to provide flexible, multi-currency analysis at scale. Together, we help clients make informed investment decisions and deepen relationships across the industry.
Job responsibilities
- Represent PRA and the Bank at client onboardings, service reviews, due diligence meetings, and presentations, including periodic travel.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to deliver a coherent and resonant message to market.
- Demonstrate expertise in the investment lifecycle, including industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and emerging trends.
- Conduct comprehensive performance analyses of investment portfolios, including attribution analysis, exposures, and rates of return.
- Develop and maintain sustainable service relationships to ensure timely and accurate client reporting.
- Identify, document, and pursue opportunities to deepen client relationships through product demonstration, trial subscription, and cross-sales.
- Analyze and interpret workflow exceptions, guide third parties on remediation, and take ownership of plan execution.
- Present findings in clear, audience-appropriate communications.
- Lead inquiry response efforts with external stakeholders, establishing priorities and articulating dependencies and delivery timetables.
- Maintain a positive work environment, encouraging contribution and growth.
- Build strong interpersonal relationships and broad consensus in large, complex organizations.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
- 10 years of experience in performance analysis, risk analytics, or investment analytics within the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of institutional fund accounting.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships in complex organizations.
- Experience conducting performance analyses and presenting findings to diverse audiences.
- Ability to lead inquiry response efforts and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a positive and growth-oriented work environment.
- Willingness to travel periodically for client engagements.
- Ability to analyze workflow exceptions and guide remediation efforts.
- Professional demeanor and collaborative approach.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Interest in or pursuit of a Master’s degree or relevant professional designations (such as CFA, CIPM, CAIA, FRM).
- Knowledge or use of FactSet and/or competitor platforms.
- Experience with product demonstration, trial subscription, and cross-sales in institutional investment services.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and emerging trends in performance and risk analytics.
- Ability to defend principles and build consensus based on shared interests.
- Experience working with global partners and clients.
- Creative and client-focused mindset.
