As a Data Management Associate in the Data Quality Controls Team, you play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining data quality rules that support our business objectives. You will collaborate with peers, support platform modernization, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Job responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and test data quality rules using the Data Quality Rules platform
- Peer review rules written by other team members to ensure accuracy and best practices
- Migrate rules from testing to production environments and support platform operations
- Troubleshoot rule and platform issues, providing timely solutions
- Coach and support other rule writers on established procedures and best practices
- Communicate status and updates to management and stakeholders through verbal and written communication
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Engineering, Business Management, or Information Technology
- Minimum two years of experience building business rules and decision logic in platforms such as Ab-initio, Collibra, Informatica, or AWS Glue Data Quality
- Strong working knowledge of SQL language
- Experience querying data from AWS Cloud and Snowflake
- Experience in data management using tools such as Toad, Oracle/PL SQL, Teradata, or similar
- Minimum two years of experience working with Mortgage, Credit Card, Auto, or Student Loan operations processes, data, or technology platforms
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Hands-on experience building dashboards and reports in Tableau
- Experience working with Alteryx
- Strong MS Office suite skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
- Ability to understand data types and create and interpret pseudo-technical language
