As a Business Process Associate within Reconciliation Utility, you'll provide support on a variety of initiatives by analyzing existing processes, identifying process gaps, identifying areas for improvement, and developing the appropriate controls for each. You'll support business partner deliverables, including documenting business requirements, providing testing support, documenting quality standards, and demonstrating adherence to established procedures while demonstrating an in-depth working knowledge of the entire Managed Account process.
You will be part of Reconciliation Utility and will manage product change, onboarding and partnering with tech for automation for the functions in a 24 X 5 environment, supporting Asia, EMEA and WHEM regions. You will be responsible for understanding the key metrics and risk components.
Job responsibilities
- Meet client deliverables with high timeliness and accuracy.
- Drive continuous productivity and quality improvement across processes.
- Review and document new procedures to ensure process updates are captured.
- Identify business knowledge gaps and promote ownership of deliverables.
- Interact professionally with global location managers to support business objectives.
- Collaborate with technology teams on project delivery, solution design, and automation.
- Foster a high-performance culture that empowers decision-making.
- Monitor Management Information System data and resolve issues promptly.
- Lead and manage multiple projects to achieve organizational goals.
- Align department strategy and goals with broader organizational direction.
- Oversee performance management, talent review, training, and risk management for the team.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Graduate with a minimum of 8 years of work experience in a financial institution.
- Working knowledge of reconciliations, cash, and stock products.
- Familiarity with SWIFTS framework.
- Experience in data science, data analytics, MIS, and reporting strategies.
- Proficiency in coding and automation tools such as Alteryx, UIpath, and AI/ML initiatives.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication at all levels, internally and externally.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Proven leadership and people management abilities.
- Ability to build strong business relationships within and across the organization.
- Proactive problem-solving approach with ownership and follow-through.
- Strong PC, project management, and analytical skills.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Prior experience in client & third party bank investigations will be an added advantage.
- Project Management/ Implementation experience would be a plus.
