Join our Corporate and Investment Bank Operations team as a Static Data Process Manager and play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and data integrity for global clients. As a Reference Data Associate, you will oversee the day-to-day management of the Static Data team, ensuring accurate client data maintenance and timely execution of business deliverables. You will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, manage escalations, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and a commitment to fostering a high-performance culture.
Job responsibilities
- Supervise and lead the Static Data team, providing guidance and support during shift operations.
- Oversee client data setup, maintenance, and exception investigation for Cash, Trade Finance, Multibank, and Replines.
- Monitor and report unit performance, taking corrective actions as needed to meet business objectives.
- Manage relationships with stakeholders, including Product, Sales, Operations, Compliance, and Project teams.
- Represent the Static Data/CIF team in global projects and manage audit deliverables.
- Ensure adherence to controls, manage escalations, and support audit and compliance requirements.
- Review staffing and volume trends to ensure optimal capacity planning.
- Foster information sharing and continuity of data within the site and across the business.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, focusing on productivity, quality, and process documentation.
- Identify business knowledge gaps, ensure accountability for deliverables, and set clear expectations for direct reports.
- Develop and lead a team that is responsive to organizational and operational changes, championing a high-performance culture.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Graduate with 6+ years of financial operations processing and client relationship management experience, with a strong team management background.
- Strong working knowledge of account opening and maintenance for Cash, Trade Finance, Multibank, Replines, Receivables, and Disbursement.
- Proven experience in project management and process improvement.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels internally and externally.
- Demonstrated leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build strong business relationships.
- Ability to lead teams through change and drive a high-performance culture.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving, with ownership of issues and determination to follow through.
- Creative problem-solving skills to address business challenges.
- Strong client focus and commitment to service excellence.
- Strong PC, analytical, and project management skills, with proficiency in MS Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience working with Risk, Audit, and Compliance to achieve organizational objectives.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Project management experience is an advantage.
- Working or expert knowledge of SWIFT and international payment conventions and practices is an advantage.
