As a Senior Product Associate in Personalization and Customer Insights, you contribute to the team by leveraging your expertise in product development and optimization to make a significant impact, supported by user research and customer feedback to fuel the creation of innovative products and continuously improve existing offerings. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and play a crucial role in shaping the future of our products and ongoing success.

Job responsibilities
  • Partners with the Product Manager to identify new product opportunities that reflect the needs of our customers and the market through user research and discovery
  • Leads product backlog reviews and sprint planning sessions to prioritize features and ensure alignment with business goals
  • Manages stakeholder engagement, collaborating with cross-functional teams to define requirements, user stories, and workflows that drive customer value
  • Considers and plans for upstream and downstream implications of new product features on the overall product experience
  • Supports the collection of user research, journey mapping, and market analysis to inform the strategic product roadmap and provide insight on potential product features that provide value to customers
  • Analyzes, tracks, and evaluates product metrics including work to time, cost, and quality targets across the product development life cycle
  • Writes the requirements, epics, and user stories to support product development
  • Collaborates with development teams, leveraging familiarity with AWS and cloud technologies to support technical discussions and solution delivery
  • Utilizes JIRA and other agile tools to manage product development activities and ensure timely delivery
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 3+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Proficient knowledge of the product development life cycle, including discovery, requirements definition, and delivery
  • Experience with JIRA, product backlog reviews, and sprint planning
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Developing knowledge of data analytics and data literacy; basic proficiency in SQL or similar languages for evaluating product performance
  • Ability to communicate product vision and translate complex concepts into clear, accessible content
  • BS in a field such as Product Management, Information Management, Business, Computer Science, Analytics, Engineering Management, or a comparable discipline
  • Experience building platforms for developers or working closely with development teams to understand and address their needs
  • Knowledge of current trends in digital products, information management, or user experience design
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders
  • Passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and enhancing customer experiences
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Experience in digital banking, financial technology, or customer-focused product management
  • Exposure to personalization, customer insights, or similar domains within product development
  • Ability to understand and query data sets for analysis or requirements gathering (e.g., using SQL, Python)
  • Familiarity with AWS data lakes, Snowflake, and modern data platforms
  • Exposure to machine learning or data science concepts
  • Experience with tools such as Confluence, MS Office, Tableau, Grafana, or similar for documentation, collaboration, and data visualization
  • Understanding of data quality principles and data governance practices
