As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer and Community Banking, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.
Job responsibilities
- Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems.
- Apply your depth of knowledge and expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, as well as partner continuously with your many stakeholders on a daily basis to stay focused on common goals.
- Develop AI-integrated workflows using LangChain, LangGraph, and Agent Protocol
- Build backend services with Java Spring Boot and frontend interfaces with React
- Deploy and maintain AI solutions on AWS
- Integrate AI systems with enterprise platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver production-ready solutions
- Adhere to JPMC technology standards and security protocols
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
- Proficiency in Python and Java Spring Boot
- Experience with React for frontend development
- Hands-on experience with AWS services
- Experience with LangChain, LangGraph AI frameworks
- Knowledge of Agent Protocol and MCP servers
- Familiarity with Git and agile development
- Willingness to work on teams that develop highly scalable, secure, and resilient applications utilizing Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, JPA, Hibernate, Swagger
- Excellent understanding of security standards, such as OAuth, TLS, JWT, Kerberos etc.
- Experience with log/metric collection and monitoring technologies, such as ELK stack, Dynatrace, Grafana

Demonstrate independent problem solving skills and ability to develop solutions to complex analytical/data-driven problems
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience with LLMs and prompt engineering
- Knowledge of vector databases and RAG patterns
- Understanding of event-driven architectures and Kafka
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and containerization
- Domain Driven Design knowledge
