As a Marketing Strategy Associate, you’ll collaborate with marketing strategy leads and partners to design and optimize marketing campaigns that engage audiences at every stage of the client journey. Your efforts will reinforce positive brand perceptions, deepen customer relationships, and accelerate lower funnel engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Planning & Program Management
- Partner with strategy leads, stakeholders, and execution teams to execute integrated marketing campaigns, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
- Develop strategic briefs to guide marketing programs, ensuring alignment with business goals and stakeholder expectations.
- Manage ongoing client engagement programs, including deal alerts, newsletters, and deepening email campaigns.
2. Content & Campaign Development
- Collaborate with content strategy, creative and digital centers of excellence to develop social media calendars, marketing collateral, and other client-facing materials.
- Shepherd content and assets through every stage of creation, approval and launch, ensuring alignment across stakeholders while meeting deadlines.
- Contribute innovative ideas to enhance campaign effectiveness and optimize content for various channels.
- Partner with web and digital teams to optimize webpages for user experience, search engine marketing and to amplify J.P. Morgan’s sector expertise across the site.
- Work closely with bankers to develop and refine collateral and materials for client interactions and events, ensuring alignment with brand standards and value proposition messaging.
3. Performance Reporting & Research
- Contribute to monthly executive reporting readouts; leveraging data insights to assess campaign and content effectiveness.
- Use analytics to inform strategy and optimize future marketing activities.
- Complete regular competitive intelligence research and summaries of the competitive landscape.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing or campaign management with a passion for marketing, brand management, content and relationship management
- Build and maintain strong relationships, influencing within a highly matrixed organization.
- Prioritize and manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously with a proactive and results-driven approach.
- Communicate effectively, distilling insights from data and making strategic recommendations.
- Collaborate as a team player with a positive and ambitious attitude, working effectively in cross-functional teams.
