We are hiring a Global Corporate Banker (Vice President level) to join our German team based in Frankfurt, as we develop and grow our global business with a portfolio of large German corporates.

Job Summary:

As a Corporate Banker in our Large Cap team, you are the first point of contact for our corporate clients on treasury topics.

Job responsibilities:

  • In this specific role, you develop, broaden and deepen the business relationships with a portfolio of Germany headquartered corporate clients together with other senior coverage bankers
  • Moreover, you leverage the bank’s global network of coverage and product partners to efficiently manage client relationships around the world
  • Together with our products partners, you will identify and address our clients’ needs. You will drive and coordinate the tailored marketing and delivery of suitable products
  • The full set of corporate banking products includes, amongst other products, cash management, working capital finance, debt capital markets, lending products, markets/ derivatives products, securities services and asset management products
  • The corporate banker on-boards clients and presents the respective business and credit cases to internal partners and committees
  • In addition, you are the first line of defence for continuous credit quality monitoring

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Relevant Experience in coverage of corporate clients in Germany and managing client relationships
  • Proven ability to develop trusted client relationships and networks, win new business and close transactions. Strong commercial judgement
  • Ability to build internal networks and manage cross-cultural environments with teams around the world
  • In depth knowledge of at least some corporate banking products
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills
  • Great team player with strong interpersonal skills and consistently high standard of personal integrity and commercial judgment
  • Fluency in English and German required
