As a Senior Auditor Associate within our Internal Audit Latin America Team, you will plan, execute, and document audit reports, collaborate closely with regional Audit colleagues and Corporate and Investment Banking Finance stakeholders, and apply your judgment to help promote and influence the strengthening of internal controls.

JobResponsibilities:

  • Execution of end to end audits, including planning, fieldwork and reporting, as well as Issue Validation and Continuous Monitoring ensuring testing is completed timely and within budget.
  • Identify, assess and document risk and controls cross CIB Finance within the region.
  • Propose and add input on audit scope decisions providing support to the Latam CIB Finance auditor lead while preparing the regional CIB Finance audit plan and during the ongoing audits.
  • Ensure compliance to Audit Regulatory Requirements and deliverables.
  • Finalize audit findings and use judgment to provide an overall opinion on the control environment to strengthen internal controls.
  • Find ways to drive efficiency with existing technical infrastructure through automation while embracing the innovative opportunities offered by new technologies.

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of Audit experience and banking industry experience,.
  • Experience in Data Analytics and different applications as to Alteryx or Excel VBA is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of SAP.
  • Experience in risk based auditing, executing audits with minimal supervision.
  • Team player, strong communication and analytical skills, strong attention to detail.
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, effective under pressure and willing to take personal responsibility/accountability.
