Fraud & Trust Domain – Senior Product Associate
The Fraud & Trust team is responsible for all platform change across ICB in the Fraud & Trust domain, spanning Identity Verification (IDV), Fraud, and Authentication. As a Senior Product Associate in this function, you will play a key role in supporting the strategy and owning the delivery of product initiatives to protect our customers and the firm, while enabling seamless and secure digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the overall strategy for Fraud, IDV, and Authentication across all ICB platforms, and own the delivery of product initiatives that enhance customer trust and mitigate risk.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Operations teams to optimize fraud and authentication capabilities through agile transformation and platform enhancements.
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of fraud detection, identity verification, and authentication capabilities, leveraging advanced analytics, vendor solutions, and emerging technologies.
- Act as a subject matter resource for Fraud, IDV, and Authentication from a product perspective, supporting the sharing of best practices across the firm.
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across business, operations, legal, compliance, risk, and audit to drive engagement and alignment on the Fraud & Trust agenda.
- Support vendor management for fraud, IDV, and authentication solutions, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance within the technology stack.
- Champion a culture of innovation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement within the Fraud & Trust domain.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required, ideally in a science, computing, engineering, or mathematics-based subject.
- Experience in a first or second line fraud, IDV, or authentication role, with exposure to policy, strategy, or analytics.
- Experience in driving platform change and transformation in a Product led environment.
- Understanding of authentication strategies and tools (e.g., behavioural biometrics, device intelligence, multi-factor authentication).
- Experience with fraud and authentication prevention tools (e.g., Sira, Hunter, ThreatMetrix, Falcon, Arcot, RSA, FeatureSpace) is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data and contribute to innovative solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage business leaders and stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal and networking skills; collaborative, open, and skilled at building relationships across functions.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience with vendor management and technology integration is a plus.
- Background in banking or consumer products, with a clear interest in innovation and technology.
