Join our Card and Connected Commerce Chief Administrative Office team and provide support in optimizing planned spend, acting as a trusted advisor, and being responsible for identifying, escalating, and mitigating financial risks. As a Finance & Business Management Associate in the Card and Connected Commerce Chief Administrative Office team, you will provide financial and strategic analysis, oversight and coordination of budgeting and forecasting, financial control, analysis of financial/business metrics, delivery of regular management reporting and development of new reporting capabilities.

Job responsibilities

  • Manage headcount tracking and budgeting process with full knowledge of open positions, pending hires, and future plans for the Card & Commerce Business Office organization.
  • Create and maintain financial budgeting, reporting, forecasting and analysis by each team within the Card & Commerce Business Office organization.
  • Partner with the Card & Commerce Business Office Advocacy group and provide budgeting and forecasting support, which aligns to the initiatives within their discretionary budget. This includes invoice processing and contract support.
  • Provide efficiency reporting, analytics and strategy including, but not limited to location strategy, span of control, reporting and analytics.
  • Develop and track performance metrics, create presentations, and generally provide financial analysis on a variety of topics to senior management.
  • Provide oversight and deliver month-end results, the forecast for the remainder of the year, and the budget for future years.
  • Help design new reports and dashboards to efficiently deliver the financial results to senior management.
  • Enhance controls and streamlining processes, introducing automation where possible.
  • Provide a high level of responsiveness to executive ad-hoc requests related to project management, presentation development, and business analysis.
  • Participate in collaborative initiatives with team members and global managers, coordinate team activities and prepare materials for town halls, employee recognition, and strategy working sessions.
  • Communicate effectively with key business partners to understand projects and foster next steps.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or other related area
  • At least 4 years of work experience in Finance, Planning & Analysis, Business Management, Accounting/Controllership, Technology or Product
  • Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to build decks, present data and tell a story
  • Inquisitive, enthusiastic and diligent, and capable of challenging peers
