Position Overview:
As the Credit Risk Senior Associate, you will be a pivotal member of the newly formed Card Credit Decisioning Unit, tasked with driving strategic insights and enhancing valuation strategy that underpin our investment decisions. This role is designed for a proactive and analytical individual who can navigate complex financial landscapes and provide data-driven recommendations that align with our business objectives.
In this position, you will be responsible for highlighting new considerations for credit card onboarding and offer eligibility, your work will involve analyzing cross-product performance trends to uncover opportunities for growth and efficiency. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, finance, and product development, to ensure that your analyses and recommendations are integrated into broader business strategies. Your ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively will be crucial in influencing decision-making processes across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze cross-product performance trends to identify opportunities for growth and optimization
- Address complex questions related to credit card onboarding and customer offer eligibility and prepare recommended action items
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide data-driven insights and recommendations
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track portfolio performance and identify areas for improvement
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
- Proven experience in financial modeling and investment analytics, preferably within the credit card industry
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
