As a Product Manager, Vice President - Product Strategy within Deposits 2.0, you will play a critical role in shaping and driving the strategic direction of the Consumer & Community Banking Deposits 2.0 program strategy in support of non-consumer JPMC lines of businesses (LOB’s) - Business Banking, Asset & Wealth Management Global Private Bank, Consumer Banking US Wealth Management, and Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB). You will be responsible for analyzing and understanding the current state in partnership with the respective LOB stakeholders and teams to define the business objectives and outcomes; formulating the strategy to achieve the objectives / outcomes; developing comprehensive actionable plans; and keeping stakeholders aligned.

Job responsibilities

  • Develops a product strategy and product vision that delivers value to customers
  • Manages discovery efforts and market research to uncover customer solutions and integrate them into the product roadmap
  • Owns, maintains, and develops a product backlog that enables development to support the overall strategic roadmap and value proposition
  • Builds the framework and tracks the product's key success metrics such as cost, feature and functionality, risk posture, and reliability
  • Partner with CCB Deposits 2.0 and stakeholders across BB, PB, AWM, and CIB to plan, coordinate, and report on deposit initiatives
  • Analyze and understand current deposit products and processes across all lines of business
  • Clearly convey the Deposits 2.0 multiyear program strategy, product execution plan, and distinct product capabilities to stakeholders
  • Define objectives and outcomes with stakeholders, and formulate a coordinated cross-LOB strategy to achieve them
  • Create presentations and artifacts to communicate strategies, plans, and recommendations to diverse audiences
  • Facilitate stakeholder alignment, agreement, and perform other product strategy functions as needed

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in product management or a relevant domain area
  • Advanced knowledge of the product development life cycle, design, and data analytics
  • Proven ability to lead product life cycle activities including discovery, ideation, strategic development, requirements definition, and value management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities, with experience tailoring messages for different audiences
  • Proven track record of developing and executing strategic plans
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple business lines and functions

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Demonstrated prior experience working in a highly matrixed, complex organization
  • Experience in financial services, especially deposit products
  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS, etc.)
  • Familiarity with JPMC business lines and organizational structure
  • Experience with stakeholder management and consensus building
  • Proficiency in creating executive-level presentations and strategic documents
