The Global Security (GS) team protects the firm’s people and assets, ensuring the safety of business operations through the implementation of technology, best-in-class talent, and client collaboration. Teams are responsible for developing safety policies and procedures, customer safety, investigations, and security operations on a global basis.

As the Divisional Security Operations Lead within our Global Security team, you will oversee and drive security strategies for the Consumer Bank division, ensuring operational effectiveness and compliance across select branches. You’ll manage disaster response plans, incident coordination, and performance metrics, while maintaining accurate records and supporting security officer deployment. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders, tracking security program milestones, coordinating site assessments, and supporting event security planning. You’ll also assist with onboarding and training, serve as backup for the Regional Security Manager, and contribute to process improvements and best practices across the division.

Job Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update disaster response plans, support incident coordination and reporting.
  • Communicate with stakeholders and document incident details for analysis.
  • Monitor divisional performance metrics and prepare for governance meetings.
  • Identify and address areas of non-compliance; maintain records of follow-up actions.
  • Inspect and validate security officer deployment records for accuracy.
  • Track milestones and deliverables for security programs; report performance.
  • Maintain logs of exceptions; investigate and resolve root causes.
  • Ensure active security officer presence at high-risk locations; escalate lapses.
  • Coordinate site assessments for compliance; track completion and corrective actions.
  • Liaise for event security planning and support; debrief after events.
  • Serve as backup Regional Security Manager during absences and Monitor and review afterhours security system alerts; follow up and close incidents.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in security management or related field.
  • Several years of relevant experience in physical security or security operations.
  • Experience in developing and implementing security programs and strategies.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in process improvement.
  • Ability to adapt and learn new software applications.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
