Job summary:
As a Quality Specialist – Boarding Quality Control in Chase Merchant Services, you will ensure the accuracy and integrity of merchant account onboarding. You will work closely with sales partners and internal teams to validate account information, resolve discrepancies, and support a seamless onboarding experience. You will operate within a dynamic, fast-paced environment, using your attention to detail and communication skills to deliver exceptional service. Your work will help mitigate risk and uphold compliance standards, contributing to the success of our global payments business.
Job responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough quality control checks to validate merchant account information accurately
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in account setup and documentation
- Provide email support to sales partners regarding account validation and onboarding processes
- Gather additional documentation and information for pended accounts to ensure timely resolution
- Track daily statistics, error reports, and maintain organized records
- Manage tasks efficiently in an online queue environment, prioritizing to meet deadlines
- Complete training and certification on relevant systems and stay current with updates
- Communicate professionally with colleagues, demonstrating ownership and responsibility
- Take ownership of additional tasks and projects as assigned by leadership
- Operate within Anti Money Laundering and Know Your Customer policies to ensure compliance
- Support a culture of continuous improvement and adaptability within the team
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Minimum 1 year in financial services or financial services consulting
- Intense attention to detail
- Ability to exercise independent judgment to resolve complex issues
- Proven efficiency under pressure and in managing high-volume queues
- Strong research and data analysis skills
- Proficiency in using multiple tools and applications
- Articulate verbal and written communication skills
- Flexibility to work extended hours as needed
- Consistent adherence to prescribed policies and procedures
- Demonstrated ownership of client issues and follow-through on commitments
- Maintains a low absence rate
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of the merchant acquiring industry
- Experience with Anti Money Laundering and Know Your Customer policies
- Familiarity with systems such as TITAN
- Ability to adapt to changing workloads and priorities
- Experience supporting sales partners or client-facing teams
