Join our Investment Solutions Business Management team. Our Team of dedicated Business Managers work hand-in-hand with senior leaders of the Managed Investments organization to evolve our business capabilities and drive strategic organizational growth.

As a Vice President on our Business Management team, you will support the Managed Investments Portfolio Management (PM) Teams. This organization comprises over 100 investment professionals, including multi- and single-asset specialists as well as quantitative research and analytics experts, responsible for management of over $700B in AUM for clients across the Global Private Bank and Wealth Management business channels.

Together with senior PM leadership and key team stakeholders you will drive innovative solutions to strategic business priorities, implement organizational and operational change, optimize efficiencies, and mitigate business risks. You will serve as a trusted adviser to PM and Managed Investments leadership, as well as a subject matter expert for key team stakeholders; a strategic partner.

Our role is crucial to driving continuous business growth while simultaneously ensuring soundness in ongoing PM business operations, which together underpins our obligation and commitment to delivering best-in-class solutions for our clients.

Job responsibilities

  • Collaborate with PM Business Heads to manage and execute their strategic business priorities.
  • Serve as a thought leader, advising leadership on key business decisions.
  • Lead and support high-impact initiatives to drive innovation and transformation across product and technology platforms.
  • Drive project workstreams and deliverables, while also supporting business operations. Identify and escalate business risks, and subsequently drive resolution via mitigating controls.
  • Establish lines of communication with all levels of the PM organization as well as key team stakeholders and functional partners to achieve business objectives. Serve as a lead point-of-contact and subject matter expert on behalf of the teams.
  • Organize complex information into a digestible and compelling way, demonstrating strong design acumen and expertise in PowerPoint techniques.
  • Create management presentations and reporting for senior management.
  • Develop subject matter expertise in current-state processes, with an emphasis on ongoing identification of enhancement opportunities as well as risks.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 6+ years of relevant experience in the wealth management or asset management industry, or in a consulting, project management, or business management capacity.
  • Demonstrates a strong commitment and dedication to their work.
  • Possesses exceptional communication abilities, both verbal and written. Capable of drafting clear, concise, and professional written documents, as well as communicating to varying seniority levels.
  • Excels in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, effectively managing and prioritizing multiple competing tasks, including amidst high levels of pressure or deadlines.
  • Brings a creative spark and a passion for innovation, consistently seeking new ways to enhance our business processes and how we serve our clients.
  • Experienced in driving stakeholder agendas, delivering presentations to stakeholders and senior leaders, and articulating rationale in design decisions.
  • Exhibits strong analytical, conceptual, and creative thinking skills, with the ability to develop business insights and hypotheses. Comfortable analyzing large data sets and driving conclusions to be presented to senior management. Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel is required.
  • Demonstrates superior judgment and discretion when working with confidential and sensitive information.
  • Shows a genuine interest and basic knowledge of global financial markets, as well as wealth management solutions for affluent and high-net-worth individuals and families.
