We are seeking a highly skilled Special Advisory Services Business Manager to join our Global Banking team. Special Advisory Services coordinates premium client access to the firm’s advisory expertise across areas such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, digital assets, geopolitics, healthcare, supply chain, and sustainability. Operating within Global Finance & Business Management, the Special Advisory Services Business Manager partners with senior leaders across Global Banking and Finance & Business Management as a trusted advisor—shaping strategy, optimizing performance, and ensuring disciplined execution.
As a Finance & Business Management – Vice President in the Special Advisory Services Business Management team, you will work directly with leaders across Global Banking and Global Investment Banking to take a new franchise from concept to scale. You’ll help set direction, translate strategy into plans, and forward cross‑functional execution that underpins JPMorgan’s industry‑leading Investment Banking business.
Job responsibilities
- Advise the Head of Special Advisory Services on strategy, controls, people, and performance; convert priorities into sequenced plans and budgets.
- Define, automate, and track management KPIs and senior leadership metrics; ensure data quality and executive‑ready insights.
- Build crisp materials for business reviews and governance—decision memos, narratives, and performance readouts that secure alignment and approvals.
- Lead cross‑functional initiatives with product, technology, risk, legal, and finance to operationalize strategy and deliver launch‑ready programs.
- Serve as the business liaison for technology initiatives—scope requirements, prioritize enhancements, and steward delivery to outcomes.
- Foster reporting modernization and process automation; standardize metrics and dashboards across regions and lines of business.
- Manage executive priorities and high‑urgency requests with sound judgment and follow‑through; maintain tight stakeholder alignment.
- Partner with senior managers to provide strategic counsel and feedback; establish operating cadences that enable transparency and accountability.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 6 years of experience in Business Management, Transformation, Investment Banking, Strategy, or Consulting.
- Ability to structure ambiguous problems, synthesize insights, and develop data‑driven recommendations.
- Proven track record delivering end‑to‑end initiatives with senior stakeholders in complex environments, with minimal oversight.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication; executive‑level storytelling; strong relationship‑building across functions.
- Self‑starter who balances big‑picture thinking with detail; able to prioritize, multitask, and meet deadlines in a fast‑moving environment.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, including executive‑quality presentations.
- Interest in expanding investment banking product and sector knowledge over time.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Experience supporting new ventures or commercializing new offerings is a plus.
- Familiarity with Tableau, Sigma, Qlik, or similar tools is a plus.
