You will be part of the SWAT Team under CCB Risk India primarily responsible for working on critical risk projects end to end, developing and maintaining process standards and performing complex activities with the objective of reducing losses, balancing risk reward trade-off and enhancing efficiencies in the system. Identify key risk drivers and assess concentrations and exposures while analytically segmenting the portfolio along these factors.

You would be required to interact frequently with cross-functional partners and make presentation to senior managers and executives. You will also be expected to demonstrate thorough understanding of the business and ensure robust controls environment.

Job responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the creation, design, analysis and execution of specific projects/analytics for GenAI and LLM integration.
  • Utilize skills in data analysis, modeling, data engineering, and project management to initiate, develop, and complete advanced analytics projects.
  • Perform credit-focused analytics to identify, quantify, and monitor risks in consumers and small businesses, leveraging diverse, large internal data sources.
  • High degree of judgment and independent decision making for complex issues and problem solving.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional partners across Cards, Auto, Home Lending, and Business Banking teams etc. to understand and address key business challenges.
  • Work independently on analytical tasks starting with problem identification, defining objectives, data discovery and analysis of large & complex data sets, formulating concise conclusions with actionable recommendations, creating story to communicate findings.
  • Providing clear/concise oral and written communication across various functions and levels, inclusive of Operations, IT, and Risk Management.
  • Provides coaching and mentoring to a group(s) of analytic professionals. Able to effectively develop team members.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends, macroeconomic developments, technological advances, and best practices in risk analytics.
  • Demonstrates effective leadership skills.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Education & Experience: MS or Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (Math, Finance, Statistics, Economics, or equivalent) with 6+ years of experience in risk management or quantitative analysis. An advanced degree is preferred.
  • Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills: Proven ability to solve complex, ambiguous problems and work effectively in evolving environments. Strong analytical skills with experience conceptualizing and executing analytics-driven projects.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects across cross-functional teams.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across departments and functions.
  • Risk Management Expertise: In-depth knowledge of risk management policies, control processes, metrics, and strategy.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership experience.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Python, SAS, SQL, MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (including graphs, charts, and formulas). Experience working with GenAI and AI/ML tools.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience and understanding of GenAI tools, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Agentic AI.
