As a Payment Lifecycle Analyst within Payments Operations, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth transfer of funds between various parties while enhancing our payment operations framework. You will leverage your knowledge of automation technologies and systems architecture to process payments across various products and parties. Your responsibilities include identifying and resolving issues, making decisions guided by established practices, and contributing to short-term operational goals. You will engage with stakeholders, manage projects, and spur continuous improvement initiatives, building strong working relationships with internal lines of business. Your ability to understand and apply cybersecurity controls, anti-fraud strategies, and data analysis techniques will be key to your success in this role.

Job responsibilities
  • Ensure processing electronic, manual transactions and reconciliations
  • Monitor and ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Implement and maintain robust controls and procedures to mitigate operational risks, prevent errors.
  • Timely mail correspondence with internal and external clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Tech, Relationship Manager, Treasury for efficiency and effectiveness in day to day operations
  • Follow escalations matrix for identified issues.
  • Assist in issue resolution and providing incident report in case of errors.
  • Identify training and development needs for team members to enhance their skills and capabilities.
  • Be a back-up for other processes within the department.
  • Perform product verification tests (PVTs) on the system as and when required.

Responsible for running assigned for process improvements projects.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Bachelor's/ Post Graduate degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in cash operations, payments processing, or financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of payment processes, payment systems, and regulatory requirements in the APAC region.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements, optimize operational efficiency, and ensure adherence to compliance standards.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, detail-oriented, and strong interpersonal skills
