As an Analyst (12 Months Fixed Term Contract) within the Payment Operations team, you will support funds transfer services across products such as the Foreign Exchange Yen Clearing System, the Zengin domestic transfer network, Tokyo Dollar Clearing, multi‑currency and sweep transactions, and multibank payments, ensuring data accuracy and strong governance throughout. You support daily processing for cash management payment products and ensure documentation and evidence are complete and audit‑ready. You partner with teammates to resolve inquiries quickly, uphold controls, and maintain high service standards. Together, we deliver reliable, timely outcomes for clients and internal stakeholders.

This role is intended to be for an initial term of approximately 12 months only, however, subject to business needs, the contract may be extended or converted to permanent employment.

Job responsibilities

  • Handle physical document and mail processing to support daily payment operations
  • Prepare regulatory and internal reports and maintain orderly filing and records
  • Compile and validate source data for regulatory, client, and audit confirmation reports
  • Prepare general ledger reconciliation data and collect supporting evidence
  • Maintain logs, tickets, and data repositories with accurate, up‑to‑date information
  • Perform signature verification and manage shared mailbox inquiries promptly and professionally
  • Identify issues, escalate appropriately, and track through to resolution

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Good communication both in Japanese and English

  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Good time management skill

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 2 years of experience in Bank Operations
  • Control mindset with adherence to corporate policies and regulatory requirements
