Middle Office (MO) is responsible for assisting the corporate, investment bankers, Market Sales and their product partners with onboarding and ongoing client maintenance activities. The main objective of the team is to focus on and improve the client experience which includes the whole KYC process, regulatory & controls, and client management, being the focal point of contact for internal and external clients.
Job Responsibilities
Primary point of contact for bankers of the Global Corporate Bank (GCB), Market Sales and the Investment Bank (IB) as well as product partners such as Payment Sales Managers regarding all matters related to the KYC program, for Peruvian and Chilean markets.
Coordination and end-to-end management of new client onboardings in partnership with the Wholesale KYC Operations (WKO) support team
Client outreach to collect documents, when required.
Participate in policy initiatives and process improvements.
Coordinate and prepare for due diligence process related to specific transactions or internal regulatory committees.
Facilitation of operational client and business queries.
Oversight of client coverage and strategic planning of client lists.
Provide transparency on overall process and progress.
Collaborate with business and support functions to spread and leverage best practices.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or equivalent
KYC policies/AML or related experience
Ability and drive to take full ownership of processes.
Strong partnership and coordination skills.
Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
Proactive/self-starter with the ability to deliver value-added support to business partners and clients in a dependable, timely and accurate manner.
Strong decision-making capabilities and the ability to identify problems and drive to resolution.
Deliver results in a dependable, timely and accurate manner.
Well organized and able to execute responsibilities; ability to prioritize multiple tasks and bring tasks to completion within established timeframes.
Fluency in English
