Credit Product Delivery (CPD) is a middle office transaction management function within Global Banking, dedicated to supporting lending and trade finance products. The team’s mission is to deliver superior client experience through timely, client-focused service, while maintaining a robust risk and control framework. CPD partners with regional and global teams, working closely with Bankers, Trade Sales, Credit, Legal, Compliance, and Operations to ensure seamless execution and consistent delivery across J.P. Morgan’s Commercial & Investment Bank.

You will play a leading role in managing the full lifecycle of lending and trade finance transactions, from documentation drafting and negotiation to deal closure, whilst building strong stakeholder relationships in partnering with various functional teams.   • Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership and Build-out

  • Lead, grow, and inspire a newly formed, high‑performing team with a global remit.
  • Provide day‑to‑day people leadership (goal setting, coaching and performance management), fostering a diverse, inclusive, and high‑engagement culture.
  • Building and managing overall team resource plan, including recruitment where required and capacity planning in a changing environment
  • Development and ownership of team performance based metrics in support of established business & operational goals
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and support the professional development of team members.
  • Transaction Management
  • Lead and oversee end-to-end execution of lending and trade finance transactions, ensuring transparency, accountability, and timely resolution across bilateral and syndicated facilities.
  • Oversee the negotiation, drafting, review, and execution of legal documentation, including facility agreements, credit support, security documents, corporate authorizations, and ancillary finance documents.
  • Manage the deal closing process, including sourcing and reviewing client constitutional documents and performing conditions precedent checks.
  • Liaise directly with clients and their legal counsel, external law firms, facility agents and internal stakeholders including Banker/Sales, Credit Risk, Legal, Tax, and Operations to support the negotiation and execution of documentation for bilateral and syndicated facilities.
  • Operate within the internal controls framework, preparing and coordinating approvals for documentation deviations.
  • Coordinate and lead deal teams as needed, facilitating smooth execution and transaction completion.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for credit documentation and provide training and guidance to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Provide guidance and support to bankers and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and effective problem resolution.
  • Operate within the internal controls framework; prepare and coordinate approvals for documentation deviations and exceptions, ensuring audit‑ready documentation.
  • Stakeholder Partnership and Governance
  • Serve as the senior point of contact partnering with business partners and stakeholders across regions to align priorities and remove blockers across time zones.
  • Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures and regulatory requirements by identifying and resolving issues promptly.
  • Actively contribute to wider CPD projects and initiatives, identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency.
  • Chair or represent CPD in relevant governance forums and working groups; drive alignment on policy, standards, and control outcomes.

Required qualifications, capabilities & skills :

  • 10-15 years’ experience in deal execution and transaction management, legal documentation, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of lending and trade finance products, and associated legal agreements (understanding of LMA style documentation is a plus).
  • Proven leadership with direct people management experience; track record of building and scaling teams with a global remit and developing, mentoring, and advancing talent across multiple career stages.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influence skills across regions and functions; able to drive outcomes without direct authority and navigate ambiguity in a matrixed environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of credit documentation; strong commercial judgment and practical risk approach balancing client experience and control obligations.
  • Ability to work shift hours, as needed, to support APAC or EMEA time zones in fast‑moving, multi‑deal environments.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize under pressure.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus.
  • Proactive, confident, and energetic approach; able to work independently and as part of a team.Strong decision making capabilities and the ability to identify problems and propose solutions.
  • High standards of performance and adaptability to a rapidly changing environment.
  • Think strategically and tactically to generate ideas around process improvement; comfortable leading change and driving adoption of new processes and tools.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Preferred qualifications, capabilities & skills :

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • Experience working in law firms, in-house legal teams, in legal support teams or in paralegal roles.
  • Proficiency in European languages is an advantage.
