As a Fund Servicing Analyst within JPMorganChase, you will play a crucial role in our fund servicing operations. Your primary focus will be on executing routine transactions and collaborating with various teams. You will also apply your knowledge of fund servicing to ensure smooth operations, while also identifying opportunities for process improvements. Job responsibilities
  • Prepare day-to-day activities in accordance with SOPs and within agreed client deadlines and SLAs

  • Perform self-review of all activities before handing over to the reviewer

  • Analyze client accounting records, raise queries, and escalate potential issues where appropriate

  • Assist in resolution of team queries and act as a reference point for junior team members on technical, accounting, and audit-related matters

  • Liaise with partner sites for external deliveries and communicate status effectively and in a timely manner to local management and partner sites

  • Interact with stakeholders to respond to any accounting-related queries that may arise

  • Recognize and act on opportunities to improve processes, develop and make recommendations for change, and encourage the team to contribute ideas for efficiency

  • Ensure all risk and control checks are adhered to, follow all required checklists and SOPs, and maintain up-to-date documentation at all times

  • Liaise with OCM (internal control) team on any issues that arise requiring review

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • 3+ years of experience in Fund Services Trades or demonstrated understanding of financial markets

  • Work effectively within a team and build key internal relationships across locations with partner sites

  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail in document review and analytical review capabilities related to Fund Accounting trade details and reporting

  • Possess knowledge and understanding of Mutual Funds and NAV

  • Exhibit ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines during peak delivery times

  • Implement change, seek efficiencies, and manage initiatives alongside daily workload

  • Maintain risk, control, and procedure-oriented approach

  • Apply strong analytical and prioritization skills with capability to make sound judgment

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Postgraduate degree with knowledge of Finance, Accounting, Trade Capture, or Reconciliation preferred
