Product Data Strategy Lead, Vice President
Aumni
The Banking Payments team enables secure, seamless payment experiences across Zelle, Wires, Cross‑border, ACH, Transfers, Bill Pay, QuickDeposit, and Real‑time Payments for tens of millions of Chase Consumer and Small Business clients.
As a Payments Data Strategy lead in Connected Commerce on the Banking Payments organization, you will define the North Star for payments data across rails and champion a product mindset for data – treating enriched data and insights as products with clear customers, contracts, and value. You will scale the existing foundation in ACH, extend into other rails, and partner with D&A and Technology to modernize the ecosystem for discoverability, self‑service, and LLM‑enabled use cases.
Job responsibilities
- Define the end‑to‑end payments data strategy and multi‑year roadmap across rails, articulating the outcomes, principles, and standards that guide enrichment and insight creation for product, client, and risk use cases
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to integrate diverse datasets (e.g., claims, aggregator, ACH) and synthesize net new insights, driving innovative solutions and unlocking synergies across business lines
- Establish data‑product disciplines (customers, contracts, quality, SLAs, lifecycle) for enrichment outputs and curated data assets; align to product OKRs and value realization across experiences and channels
- Stand up a common, enterprise‑ready view of payments data across product – shared definitions, taxonomies, lineage, and usage patterns – to reduce fragmentation and accelerate reuse across teams
- Partner with D&A and Technology, drive a self‑service ecosystem (discovery, access, documentation, and guardrails) and enable AI/LLM‑powered data models and assistants that unlock efficiency
- Lead expansion into additional rails and scale mature capabilities (e.g., ACH); harmonize where it benefits the customer and controls while respecting rail‑specific requirements
- Lead through influence across Product, D&A, Technology, Operations, Finance, Legal, and Risk; communicate a clear narrative to senior stakeholders on progress, trade‑offs, and value delivery
- Translate strategy into a prioritized roadmap; guide discovery through adoption; and measure impact on client experience, economics, and operational efficiency across consuming products and channels
