This is a two-and-a-half-year internal rotational programme in Hong Kong across Securities Services. You will rotate across key business areas to build an end-to-end understanding, with a focus on Trading Services, Global Custody and Fund Services.
Programme overview
The programme is the gateway to developing a comprehensive, end‑to‑end knowledge of the Securities Services business. As a full‑time participant, you will complete three ten‑month rotations covering areas such as Trading Services, Global Custody and Fund Services. The programme is designed to establish a strong foundation in the key disciplines of Securities Services so that you can take on significant responsibilities and projects within the business upon completion.
As a participant in the 2026 Commercial & Investment Bank Securities Services Leadership Programme, you will develop your analytical, technical and leadership skills while gaining hands‑on programme management experience in your role. You will work with engaged managers in Hong Kong and have exposure to global teams across Securities Services. You will also have regular engagement and networking opportunities with business leaders, current programme participants and alumni.
What we offer
- In‑depth experience and exposure to the full end‑to‑end Securities Services business, rotating across Front Office roles (e.g. Product, Client Services, Sales, etc.).
- Work with experienced managers and team members on priority initiatives that span across Securities Services and the broader Commercial & Investment Bank.
- Structured learning including access to Securities Services University courses; programme participants also take part in a 2‑week bootcamp and ongoing training.
Programme structure
- Three rotations of ten months each.
- Location: Hong Kong.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Exceptional writing, verbal communication and client‑facing skills.
- Aptitude to synthesise large amounts of information and develop innovative solutions.
- Clear, concise communication; strong time‑management with ability to prioritise and escalate appropriately.
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Fluent in English.
