As the Operational Sustainability Vice President India Manager within the Chief Administrative Office, you will lead the India‑based Operational Sustainability team, owning delivery, controls support, and continuous improvement across data governance, regulatory reporting support, automation, and audit readiness
Job responsibilities
- Own India execution of end‑to‑end data governance activities supporting the Global GHG Inventory, including data collection, validation, transformation, quality control, uploads, and documentation. Plan and prioritize quarterly footprint generation activities to ensure milestones are met despite fluctuating data volumes and competing deadlines.
- Ensure documentation is complete and evidence is audit‑ready for assurance and regulatory reporting. Maintain and continuously improve data governance artifacts, including trackers, data dictionaries, SOPs, issue logs, and evidence repositories.
- Lead India support for BAU regulatory reporting production and controls, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to firm and regulatory standards during high‑volume reporting periods. Partner with global report owners to support submissions, reviews, and documentation for regulatory filings (e.g., CSRD, SECR, EMR). Proactively sequence work, allocate capacity, and manage trade‑offs across concurrent deliverables.
- Drive reduction of manual effort and error risk through standardization and automation of reporting inputs. Support OS controls execution as needed, partnering closely with the global Controls Lead who owns overall controls strategy, testing approach, and external coordination. Ensure India team execution aligns with firm standards for maker–checker controls, anomaly tracking, evidence retention, and audit trails.
- Maintain and update SOP documentation, quarterly process reviews, and evidence repositories for India‑executed processes, ensuring audit readiness and consistency with global control frameworks.
- Own India delivery and maintenance of Alteryx workflows supporting data governance, footprint generation, and regulatory reporting.
- Personally contribute to high‑impact or complex workflows when needed to meet deadlines or resolve critical issues.
- Ensure workflows are compliant with firm governance standards, fully documented, registered, and audit‑ready.
- Champion responsible AI adoption within BAU, including AI‑assisted quality checks, evidence extraction, and process optimization.
- Directly manage and develop the India OS team, setting clear ownership, performance expectations, and prioritization frameworks aligned to annual objectives. Actively coach the team on workload management, escalation, and decision‑making under time pressure.

Ensure team members are cross‑trained across data governance, regulatory reporting support, and controls to reduce key‑person risk.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- 10+ years of professional experience.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field.
- Prior experience in a manager + individual contributor role within a high‑volume, deadline‑driven environment.
- Demonstrated ability to independently prioritize work, manage surge periods, and make sound delivery trade‑offs.
- Strong analytical and data problem‑solving skills, with the ability to collect, reconcile, interpret data, identify variances and risks, and translate findings into clear, decision‑ready insights.
- Strong working proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Visio, with the ability to produce clear analyses, documentation, and executive‑ready materials.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Background in sustainability, ESG, or non‑financial reporting preferred; or, demonstrated interest in sustainability topics with the ability to ramp up quickly.
- Hands‑on experience with Alteryx or similar data automation tools preferred; familiarity with AI applications in operations is a plus.
- Proven ability to operate effectively in a highly controlled, regulated environment with senior stakeholders.
