As a Trade Lifecycle Associate II within JPMorganChase, you will play a pivotal role in managing the operations of the pre- and post-trading life cycle across all asset classes. Your expertise in trade lifecycle processes will be crucial in ensuring all trades are processed accurately and efficiently on respective platforms. You will be expected to apply your advanced analytical skills and broad understanding of the professional field to solve problems, make decisions that impact the department, and ensure compliance with technical standards and policies. Your role will involve coordinating with various departments, managing cash movements in and out of client accounts, and preparing funding for managed demand deposit accounts. You will also be responsible for identifying process inefficiencies and implementing improvements, leveraging automation technologies, and managing projects effectively. Your ability to influence and manage internal stakeholders, coupled with your strong presentation skills and market product knowledge, will be key to your success in this role.
Job responsibilities
- Knowledge of the technical infrastructure that supports the business & effectively utilizes infrastructure for daily tasks. Ensure all transactions are captured accurately and assigned to stakeholders with accurate MIS done.
- Delivery management, cross depot stock movements - identify internal breaks, escalation and resolution of various types of breaks with root cause analysis,
- Resolution of Cash and Stock breaks working closely with stakeholder teams across the globe
- Cash and stock breaks management of internal books and records.
- Continuously participate in projects involving new system implementation, process improvements, etc
- Take ownership of work, problems, clarify issues / objections, and ensure data integrity, accuracy and completeness
- Working closely with the Business (Desk Heads, Global and Regional Business Managers) to understand their needs / priorities / issues
- Work closely with technology partners to design the right solutions and implement requirements for future state, focusing on the priorities and efficiency saves.
- Perform cost benefit analysis to propose optimum future process to the business
- Requirements gathering for the build of the future state, clearly documenting workflows, E2E processes, controls along the lifecycle and new roles and responsibilities
- A strong control mindset and adherence to a high degree of business ethics
- In-depth experience of global markets
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to pick up complex systems architecture easily
- Experience in driving global initiatives and affecting change in a large organization
- Be innovative and suggest system improvement capabilities.
- Ability to multitask, ensuring the breaks are monitored correctly, breaks are resolved and MIS being sent to managers on deadlines.
