As a Software Engineer II at JPMorganChase within the Consumer and Community Banking, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.
Job Responsibilities
- Participates in, design and develop scalable and resilient systems using Java and/or Python to contribute to continual, iterative improvements for product teams
- Executes software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting
- Creates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems
- Produces or contributes to architecture and design artifacts for applications while ensuring design constraints are met by software code development
- Identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture
- Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

Strong Skills in Python and/or Java programming Needed.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure and/or AWS) for ML deployments with AI enabled
- Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
- Experience with statistical data analysis and ability to determine appropriate tools and data patterns to perform analysis
- Solid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Applicant Resiliency, and Security.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Great to have experience with ML Frameworks : TensorFlow, PyTorch
- Good to have understanding of supervised and unsupervised learning algorithms, model selection, and evaluation.
Design Java and Python software, deploy cloud services, and implement practical artificial intelligence and machine learning solutions.
