As a Senior Associate in the Small and Mid-sized Business - Strategy and Planning team, you will play a crucial role in shaping product strategy and delivery for Payments, focusing on the Small Business and Commercial client segments. You will drive strategic direction and connect the dots across a business agenda that spans multiple teams, partners, and lines of business. We seek a talented and impactful individual with high intellectual and emotional intelligence. In this role, you will need to be highly organized, self-motivated, and a strong strategic thinker. Your ability to communicate effectively and focus on execution will be key to your success. Job Responsibilities:
- Engage closely with engineering, line of business partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to identify new product opportunities that reflect customer and market needs.
- Collaborate with design and research teams to develop a deep understanding of business customer needs.
- Drive end-to-end product consistency for the SMB customer segment, including evaluating and benchmarking fraud risk strategy across all payment methods, and coordinating delivery for enhanced authentication and risk assessment capabilities.
- Manage executive updates and communications to senior firm leaders and cross-LOB partners, both recurring and ad hoc; track production schedule of key team deliverables and critical follow-ups.
- Track, monitor, and synthesize insights on industry trends and competitive dynamics across the payments landscape.
- Integrate data analytics, product metrics, user experience research, competitive and market analysis, and company goals to assess product performance and drive prioritization of future initiatives.
Required qualifications:
- 3+ years of relevant experience in strategy, product, or a related role.
- Passion for understanding customer needs and demonstrated ability to build digital products.
- Ability to think strategically and connect the dots to the bigger picture, while being comfortable diving into details to ensure successful execution.
- Proven success in collaborating, influencing, and driving decisions with multiple stakeholders, including team members across product, technology, and design.
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to present fact-based recommendations clearly, logically, and concisely.
- Thought-leader who seeks innovation opportunities for clients and business operations improvement opportunities for the firm.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives to completion under concurrent, rigorous, and regulatory deadlines in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
