As a Finance Manager in Markets Technology, you will partner with senior Technology and Markets stakeholders to lead financial planning, performance management, and strategic decision support. You will own end-to-end budgeting, forecasting, expense management, and headcount governance across a portfolio of technology products and change programs. Your role empowers you to deliver financial insights, drive process improvements, and foster a collaborative team environment. Together, we will create value and support the growth of our global Markets Tech organization.

Job responsibilities

  • Lead annual budget, quarterly forecast, and multi-year outlook processes for Markets Technology.
  • Develop scenario analyses and quantify financial impacts for investment and productivity initiatives.
  • Produce timely, accurate monthly close commentary, variance analysis, and executive dashboards.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and drive actions to address financial gaps.
  • Partner with product and delivery leads to track investment cases and benefits realization.
  • Support portfolio prioritization decisions using financial trade-offs and capacity constraints.
  • Manage headcount planning, hiring governance, attrition tracking, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure cost allocations and resource attribution align to portfolio and product structures.
  • Oversee vendor forecasting, purchase order discipline, and invoice/billing variance review.
  • Identify and track savings opportunities through vendor rationalization and demand management.
  • Ensure adherence to internal finance policies, audit requirements, and control frameworks.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting within a technology or markets environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop scenario analyses and quantify financial impacts.
  • Experience producing executive-level financial reporting and dashboards.
  • Ability to monitor and interpret key performance indicators and drive corrective actions.
  • Demonstrated partnership with senior stakeholders to support investment governance and prioritization.
  • Experience managing headcount planning and resource allocation across teams.
  • Knowledge of cost management, vendor forecasting, and invoice review processes.
  • Familiarity with internal finance policies, audit requirements, and control frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex financial drivers into clear insights.
  • Attention to detail, adaptability, and eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in financial management for technology portfolios or change programs.
  • Proven track record supporting investment governance and benefits realization.
  • Familiarity with SOX/control frameworks and process improvement initiatives.
  • Experience with vendor rationalization and licensing optimization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and reporting tools.
  • Experience working in a global, matrixed organization.
