Join our private banking risk management team and drive new analytical approaches and solutions.
As a Vice President, you will be part of a team of experts that provides oversight over the Private Bank Line of Business for EMEA.
Job responsibilities
- Support data-driven risk management around client suitability risk.
- Review, edit, and advise business on risk issues related to ESG and Reputational matters.
- Work with senior management on firm wide issues and from time to time join working groups.
- Understand complex products and structures available to clients which may present risk to the firm.
- Partner with senior risk stakeholders in the region, in the oversight of fiduciary matters.
- Undertake credible challenge on business processes and change initiatives.
- Review, and draft procedures and best practices guidelines.
- Work with Asset & Wealth Management Head of Reputation Risk and ESG Risk regarding current and new methods for analysing risks.
- Strong and proven affinity with data management and analysis.
- Good understanding of principal Private Banking products and services. A good understanding of how sustainability and ESG considerations apply to this business would be an asset.
- Prior experience in Risk Management, Finance and/ or Compliance.
- Analytical, solution-oriented and practical.
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Strong and proven affinity with data management and analysis.
- Good understanding of principal Private Banking products and services. A good understanding of how sustainability and ESG considerations apply to this business would be an asset.
- Prior experience in Risk Management, Finance and/ or Compliance.
- Analytical, solution-oriented and practical.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Specific knowledge of sustainability and suitability considerations.
- SQL/Python and Tableau knowledge.
- Demonstrate prior success with implementing innovative approaches around data analysis and visualisation.
