This role of Financial Planning & Analyst plays a pivotal role within Product, Experience, and Technology( PxT) of Consumer and Community Banking (CCB), driving the governance, execution, and continuous enhancement of cost allocation processes. As an Associate, you will play a key role in delivering insightful financial reporting to stakeholders while serving as a trusted strategic partner to key business leaders. As an Associate within Product, Experience, and Technology (PXT) of Consumer and Community Banking (CCB), you will play a key role in delivering insightful financial reporting to stakeholders while serving as a trusted strategic partner to key business leaders.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain expertise in the end-to-end cost allocation process in Apptio, ensuring methodologies are consistently applied, well-documented, and audit-ready across Budget and Forecast cycles.
  • Perform monthly General Ledger (GL) loads for Non-Labor spend, enabling transparency of allocations at the Vendor level and supporting the forecasting of Vendor Expenses.
  • Partner with PXT CFO teams to collect, consolidate, and distribute variance commentaries to LOB P&A teams, Legal Entity Controllers, and LOB CFO teams in a timely manner.
  • Deliver cost allocation reports and management packs that translate complex financial data into clear, visual narratives for senior and executive audiences.
  • Collaborate with the PXT Reporting & Insights team to improve reporting transparency and close gaps between the PI planning tool and reporting databases; and partner with the PXT Central team to prepare and maintain a Budget Calendar for allocation planning cycles.
  • Participate in Tracker discussions on Headcount, Expenses, and Cost Center transfers, assess allocation impacts, and execute required actions across financial systems.
  • Track charges to PXT and CCB in partnership with respective LOB allocation teams, ensuring accuracy and visibility of cross-LOB cost movements.
  • Serve as the go-to resource for PXT cost allocation inquiries, foster cross-functional relationships, drive process improvements, and ensure all tasks are completed within agreed SLAs and timelines, including timely submissions to SAPCO.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or Engineering from a top-tier institution is required, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail, and the ability to work confidently with large and complex datasets.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions, manage competing priorities, and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Experience supporting recurring financial processes with a strong willingness to continuously learn and improve.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skill

  • Knowledge of SQL and Databricks for data extraction, manipulation, and analytical modeling is a strongly encouraged.
  • Experience with enterprise financial planning platforms such as Hyperion or Anaplan; familiarity with Apptio, Alteryx, Tableau, or similar IT financial management and BI tools is strongly preferred.
