Global Supplier Services (GSS) organization brings together Category Sourcing, Third Party Oversight, Procurement Operations, Accounts Payable, Supplier Relationship Management, Supplier Diversity, and Customer Experience into one team. This group of more than 1000 employees (in 16 countries) manages the source-to-pay processes for JPMorgan Chase in a manner that mitigates supplier-related Risks, enhances supplier performance and manages supplier expenses, while providing the firm an optimal customer experience.

Job Summary

As a Business & Ops Specialist, within the Global Supplier Services team you will report to a Sourcing and Procurement (Business & Ops) Manager and will be responsible for managing contract data related matters. This position requires an experienced person who will be able to do the contract abstraction, contract review, regulatory compliance check etc.

Job responsibilities

  • Abstract third-party vendor and Inter-Affiliate contracts, identify required data elements, and ensure accurate updates in the contract repository.
  • Organize and rename past contract amendments in the repository according to hierarchy and naming conventions, and classify contracts based on templates.
  • Identify contracts that do not meet regulatory requirements, tag them appropriately, and support regulatory remediation efforts.
  • Ensure active contracts between suppliers and JPMC-acquired entities are uploaded to the repository during mergers and acquisitions.
  • Analyze contract reporting to identify, communicate, and resolve issues.
  • Ensure all documentation is captured and stored in compliance with document retention standards.
  • Analyze root causes of contract data quality errors, identify themes and trends, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Provide recommendations and conclusions based on critical, independent quantitative and qualitative analyses.
  • Support process innovation and tool development to automate and improve recurring tasks.
  • Coordinate and collaborate across teams from various business units in a team environment.
  • Complete abstractions for Schedules tied to all medium and above risk engagements and their respective Master agreements, ensuring legal risk protection for the firm.

    Shift: 6:30 pm to 3:30 am IST.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • 2+ years of experience in contract abstraction, legal document review, regulatory compliance or other similar experience.

  • Fluent in English and confident in communicating with stakeholders
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to adapt to change easily
  • Works in team environment as well as individually
  • Builds strong client relationships
  • Exhibits strong organization skills and effective time management
  • Self-starter who consistently acts with a sense of urgency and can work with limited guidance and direction from others
  • Personal Computer skills with Proficiency in Excel, Adobe and other Microsoft Suite products
  • Ariba system working experience
