As a Global Markets Regulatory Controls – Product Owner within the Markets Regulatory Reporting and Control group, you lead strategic initiatives across the Global Regulatory Platform from idea to adoption. You partner across Technology, Operations, Controls, and senior leadership to deliver compliant, high-quality reporting and stronger operating models. You drive continuous improvement through disciplined execution, clear governance, and measurable outcomes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from ideation through post-launch review.
  • Partner with stakeholders to elicit requirements and align objectives and scope.
  • Translate regulatory and control needs into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Maintain requirements, training materials, and user documentation in an audit-ready state.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Develop delivery plans, milestones, RAID logs, and governance routines to track progress.
  • Design operating models, processes, automation, and control frameworks to improve quality.
  • Coordinate cross-functional delivery across Business Management, Controls, Trading, Compliance, and Technology.
  • Oversee testing and release readiness to ensure robust QA and regulatory compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying bottlenecks and implementing optimizations.
  • Produce executive updates, scorecards, and decision materials for senior forums and committees.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field.
  • Demonstrate at least 10 years of experience in product ownership, regulatory reporting, or financial markets.
  • Apply strong analytical skills to interpret regulatory requirements and convert them into solutions.
  • Communicate clearly and influence effectively across cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
  • Operate fluently within Agile delivery models and use tools such as Jira, Confluence, and MS Project.
  • Lead complex initiatives from conception through delivery in fast-paced environments.
  • Use SQL to analyze data, validate outputs, and support control and reporting quality.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Earn certifications such as Scrum Product Owner, Agile, or Regulatory Reporting.
  • Leverage Alteryx to automate data preparation, controls, and repeatable workflows.
  • Build dashboards and reporting using BI tools such as Tableau or Sigma.
  • Design scalable control frameworks and operating models that reduce manual risk and defects.
  • Utilize Databricks for data engineering and analytics use cases.
  • Understand AWS cloud services and high-level architecture patterns.
  • Apply AI/ML concepts to enhance exception management, quality monitoring, and control effectiveness.
