Take your markets expertise to the next level in a fast-paced, client-driven sales role. You will help clients navigate emerging markets through timely market intelligence, thoughtful trade ideas, and disciplined execution. You will work closely with trading, structuring, and research partners to deliver coordinated coverage and outcomes. This role offers broad product exposure across fixed income, rates, and foreign exchange, with meaningful ownership of client activity.
As a Vice President in CEM Sales, you will manage day-to-day execution and client coverage across emerging markets fixed income, rates, and foreign exchange products. You will partner with trading, structuring, and research teams to deliver market insight, respond to client needs, and execute efficiently across the trade lifecycle. You will help deepen client relationships, contribute to idea generation, and uphold strong standards for process, controls, and quality in a high-intensity environment.
Job responsibilities
- Execute emerging markets fixed income, rates, and foreign exchange products for a broad range of clients
- Manage client interactions through the trade lifecycle, including order handling, execution coordination, and trade booking
- Deliver timely market updates, color, and actionable market intelligence aligned to client needs
- Collaborate with trading, structuring, and research partners to provide comprehensive, coordinated client coverage
- Identify market drivers and translate market developments into clear, client-ready views and trade discussions
- Support relationship development by proactively engaging clients and following up on opportunities and feedback
- Maintain a disciplined approach to process, accuracy, and quality control across day-to-day activity
- Prioritize effectively across multiple requests while maintaining responsiveness in fast-moving markets
- Contribute to team development by sharing product knowledge and supporting junior colleagues’ growth
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
- 5 years of relevant financial services experience in sales and/or markets execution covering emerging markets products
- Demonstrated ability to execute and manage workflows across fixed income, rates, and foreign exchange products
- Proven experience interacting with institutional clients (for example, asset managers, pension funds, banks, sovereign wealth funds, and hedge funds)
- Ability to assimilate news and market information to form a clear market view and communicate it effectively
- Strong attention to detail and diligence in a high-intensity environment
- Demonstrated ability to perform under pressure while maintaining sound judgment and control focus
- Clear, logical thinking and strong qualitative skills, including written and verbal communication
- Strong teamwork skills and a disciplined approach to process and quality control
- Proficiency in Bloomberg, MarketAxess, and Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
- Experience supporting or leading cross-product coverage across emerging markets asset classes
- Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with cross-functional stakeholders across trading, structuring, and research
- Strong organizational skills with consistent follow-through and prioritization in fast-moving markets
- Track record of contributing trade ideas or client-ready market themes aligned to evolving market conditions
