Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Solutions Consultant to join our team and focus on supporting our pre-sales technical sales efforts. This role will be responsible for understanding our customers' unique operational and technical challenges and guiding them through the implementation of our methane detection and measurement solutions. Additionally, the Solutions Consultant will serve as a crucial liaison between customers and our Product Development and Marketing teams, ensuring that client feedback shapes both our product development and marketing messaging needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Consultation:
- Work closely with oil & gas distribution clients to understand their methane detection and monitoring needs.
- Conduct in-depth needs assessments and provide recommendations on Bridger Photonics' solutions tailored to distribution sector operations.
- Conduct Bridger product demo’s and drive solution capability discussions.
- Assist in the design and implementation of proposals and pricing configurations to meet customer needs and sustainability goals.
- Technical Expertise:
- Provide technical demonstrations of Bridger Photonics’ laser-based gas detection technology and software.
- Offer guidance on integrating our solutions into clients' existing systems and operations.
- Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory developments, and advancements in leak detection technologies within the distribution sector.
- Become a trusted advisor to the technical teams with our targeted prospect base.
- Product Liaison:
- Act as the primary conduit between the Product Organization and clients, ensuring customer feedback, technical requirements, and operational challenges are clearly communicated to product management and engineering teams.
- Collaborate with the product team to influence the product roadmap based on customer insights and market demands.
- Facilitate continuous feedback loops between customers and internal teams, ensuring that any evolving client needs are reflected in future product releases or updates.
- Assist in testing and evaluating product updates to ensure they meet the specific needs of distribution sector clients before deployment.
- Marketing and Voice of the Customer:
- Advocate for the customer by representing their needs and challenges to the Marketing team.
- Collaborate with marketing to refine value propositions and messaging that resonate with distribution clients based on direct customer feedback.
- Share customer success stories and use cases with the marketing team to support the development of compelling marketing materials, white papers, and case studies.
- Ensure that the voice of the customer informs all outward-facing content, enhancing the relevance and effectiveness of our marketing campaigns.
- Provide input for competitive analysis and positioning by bringing customer pain points and industry trends to light.
- Be part of the delivery team for webinars.
- Project Management:
- Be involved in the deployment and ongoing support of Bridger Photonics’ solutions for distribution clients, ensuring smooth implementation and proper hand off from the sales process.
- Coordinate with internal technical, sales, and product development teams to deliver a seamless customer experience.
- Act as a liaison between the customer and the engineering teams to ensure product configurations meet customer requirements.
- Sales Support:
- Collaborate with the sales team to generate leads, identify new business opportunities, and expand market share.
- Support the creation of customized proposals and presentations that address client-specific operational challenges.
- Attend industry conferences and trade shows to showcase Bridger Photonics’ solutions.
- Customer Success:
- Provide ongoing post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction, long-term adoption, and return on investment.
- Monitor solution performance and deliver performance reports and analyses to clients.
Requirements
- Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a technical consulting or solutions-oriented role within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Proven track record of delivering technical solutions in gas detection, emissions control, or related fields.
- Experience working with utilities, pipeline operators, or distribution companies is a strong plus.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of methane detection and leak monitoring technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to develop client-specific solutions.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into easy-to-understand solutions for clients.
- Experience working cross-functionally with product, sales, marketing, and engineering teams.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related technical field. Advanced degree is a plus.
- Travel:
- Willingness to travel (up to 30%) to client sites and industry events as needed.

- This is a full-time salaried position.
- Salary is commensurate with education, experience, and skills.
