Description

The Sales Operations Manager actively works within the scope of Demand and Inventory Planning in collaboration with Product Development, Supply Chain, Sales, Marketing, and Accounting teams to develop vetted demand forecasts across channels, execute inventory purchase requirements, and drive continuous improvement of systems and processes supporting these deliverables across teams.

  • Demand Planning – Develop bottoms-up demand forecasts across channels derived from quantitative sales history and qualitative cross-channel sales opportunities alike.
  • Supply Planning – Manage buy process for dedicated segment of the assortment, balancing current and future stock levels in support of multiple channels, including DTC Ecommerce, Wholesale, Marketplace, and Owned & Operated Retail.
  • Open-to-Buy (OTB) - Present planned supply horizon to leadership and cross functional teams, gaining alignment on demand optimization and future buy guardrails.
  • Reporting - Manage a portfolio of reports to aid in the forecasting process and inform partners on an array of actionable metrics, including but not limited to: Revenue, Gross Sales, COGS, Gross Margin, IMU, Receipts, Inventory, and Sell Through.
  • Systems Implementation and Monitoring – Be part of a small team “in the know” on how MeatEater’s functional systems translate to actionable outputs, making recommendations to IT on the framework of said systems. Ensure that MeatEater and 3PL partner systems and software are working together efficiently.
  • Data Setup & Management – Guide Centric and NetSuite system record structure to optimize efficient downstream use of data.
  • Continuous Improvement – Collaborate with Operations team members and cross-functional partners alike to make continuous improvements in a process driven environment.
Requirements
  • Four year undergraduate or technical degree
  • Relevant planning, forecasting, or sales operations experience
  • Strong written, verbal and oral presentation skills
  • In depth knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Suite, with a strong focus on Excel and Sheets
  • NetSuite experience a plus (not required)
  • Very detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects & timelines
  • Creative, proven self-starter
  • The willingness and ability to travel 2-3 times annually to perform the essential duties of this position
