The Senior Software Engineer will play a central role in designing and implementing the technical strategy for our platform, APIs and products. The role will collaborate closely with a cross-functional team to build AI-powered applications that are secure, reliable, and impactful. A successful candidate for this position must possess both a deep and wide background in cloud, service, and API architectures, and be able to demonstrate experience with designing and implementing production systems.
ABOUT YOU:
- Proven Experience: 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on backend development using .NET (C#).
- AWS Proficiency: Hands-on experience with AWS services, architecture, and best practices for cloud-native applications.
- Database Skills: Expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases, including schema design and query optimization.
- Frontend Familiarity: Working knowledge of React and its ecosystem
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Backend Development: Build robust backend systems using .NET (C#) and other languages.
- Cloud Infrastructure: Design, deploy, and manage scalable applications in AWS, leveraging services like ECS Fargate, DynamoDB, S3, and others.
- Database Management: Work with both SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (e.g., DynamoDB) databases to support diverse data needs.
- Frontend Collaboration: Collaborate with frontend engineers and occasionally contribute to React-based applications.
- Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards.
- Mentorship: Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and actively participate in code reviews.
- Problem-Solving: Tackle complex engineering challenges, including performance optimization, system design, troubleshooting, and AI model integration.
- Research: Stay up to date on new tools & techniques for cloud, service, and API implementations. Conduct proofs of concept with key outcomes in mind.

Compensation:
Base Pay + Equity + Benefits
A reasonable estimate of the salary range for this role is $110,000- $145,000. Any offered salary range is based on a wide array of factors including but not limited to skillset, experience, training, location, scope of role, management responsibility, etc.
Following our Equal Pay Commitment, we have salary banding and established vesting schedules for equity.
